Hello! I’m Madeleine, a science writer based in Madison, Wisconsin. I’m currently the senior science writer for Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois. From June 2019 to December 2021, I served as the communications manager for the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center (WIPAC) — including their experiment the IceCube Neutrino Observatory — a research center run by UW–Madison.
In addition to neutrinos, I enjoy writing about almost anything in the fields of particle physics and astronomy.
Take a look around my portfolio, and please feel free to get in touch through the link in the sidebar!
My credentials:
- B.A. in Astronomy, Boston University, 2018
- M.S. in Science Journalism, Boston University, 2019
- ACES/Poynter Certificate in Editing, 2024
